  I heard about this place via a colleague who said it was very authentic Italian cooking. As it was my wife's birthday who loves Italian cuisine i decided to book as a surprise. We arrived last night to a lovely quaint restaurant and was greeted by the host Cinzia who talked us through the menu and wine to compliment our food. We sat down and had a truly wonderful meal and evening with the most authentic Italian cuisine we have tasted outside Italy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Please go and try as it is well worth the drive

  I read the reviews and took my wife. Was not impressed by the restaurant, the prices far exceeded that of other genuine Italian restaurants. We were greeted coldly on arrival and when I asked for a coke, I had a glass full of ice, hardly any coke, realised that this was going to be the service for the night and left. I wont be returning. The lady who served us needed to see the greeting we then recieved at a different restaurant that night and the warmth of the staff and we did not feel like we were going to be ripped off. I dont write many bad reviews but this deserved one.I also read a similar account of the reception recieved from this same lady by others on Trip Advisor, so not just me who got this bad treatment. Furthermore, she was the same person who answered the phone some weeks ago when I tried to book and was quite cold on the phone also. I should have realised then that there was something wrong. BAD SERVICE from the reception staff downstairs.
